President Elect Obama Please Say “Ahhhhh”
“AHHHHHHHH”
I often wondered why President Elect Obama shied away from taking McCain head in the in the ten Town Hall Debates that Senator McCain proposed. Why would such a great orator like Barrack be afraid to take on McCain in such a format, mano a mano?
Well after seeing the Great Speaker Obama handling his first Q&A session during his Nov. 7th, 2008 Press Conference as President Elect Obama, I believe I now understand why the Obama team refused to such a debate format.
Being great at a prepared speech, either memorized or read off a teleprompter, is much different than a leader having to think quickly and speak on his feet.
You will not see the Q&A part of the Press Conference at Change.gov and for obvious reasons. As I watched President Obama’s Press Conference on Friday I was shocked by such an intelligent and well spoken person repeatedly saying “..Ahhhhh” and “Ahhhh” and “Ahhhh”!
The edited video presented here (and on YouTube) is an edited version of the Q&A session with all the “Ahhhs” cut and put together. All Cuts were sequential as spoken during the Q&A and not one of these cuts is any any way repeated during my edit of the video.
Many complain about Bush’s lack of spoken eloquence, and I would agree; however, I was so severely agitated by the Obama’s “Ahhhing” that it was ringing through my head all this past weekend.
Reminds me a bit of the story “The Emperor Has no Clothes”? Please watch and decide for yourself.

Education is a social process. Education is growth. Education is, not a preparation for life; education is life itself.

Nothing in the world is permanent, and we’re foolish when we ask anything to last, but surely we’re still more foolish not to take delight in it while we have it. If change is of the essence of existence one would have thought it only sensible to make it the premise of our philosophy.
